alive out of habit

let me tell you about my style. when I was young, I would always gravitate towards the brightest, sparkliest, most colorful, flashiest things. And I actually wore shiny gold sneakers to school for a while. and also metallic gold, silver, and some black pleather, too. And anything covered in sequins. I didn't understand that people didn't wear those things on a daily basis, not unless it was a special occasion.
 
And my taste is still the same. I can't understand why people will pay hundreds for something that is solid beige (or the fact that people pay hundreds at all). My favorite colors are pink and blue, followed by red and purple.
 
Nowadays I wear what is appropriate for different occasions, but I when I get the chance to be very flashy I take it. I like to think my everyday style is a mix of bright, flashy, sparkly, mixed with punk/goth and a tiny dash of prep. I prefer costume jewelry over fine jewelry and wear it on a day to day basis. I DO have my own style.
